These Christmas tree Oreos are festive and so cute!

They are so fun to make at a Christmas party or you can make them ahead and serve them. You can use any Oreos you want, but I used the regular ones.

The festive Christmas ones with a red filling would be fun too though.

How To Make Christmas Tree Oreos

    • Step 1 – Melt white chocolate and dip about half of an Oreo cookie into it.
    • Step 2 – Melt white chocolate and add green food coloring to it. Put it in a piping bag with a very small tip or in a Ziplock bag and cut a tiny piece of the corner off.
    • Step 3 – Pipe a Christmas tree shape in the middle of the Oreo by going back and forth starting with small motions for the top of the tree and getting bigger for the bottom of the tree.
    • Step 4 – Add nonpareils sprinkles to the green tree to look like ornaments.
    • Step 5 – Add a gold jimmy to look like the tree trunk and a gold star sprinkle to the top of the tree. Work fast because the white chocolate dries quickly.

How To Store Christmas Tree Oreos

Keep them in an airtight container after they dry. Store them at room temperature, do not store in the fridge.

    Conclusion

  • Gemstone vs Diamond: Which Engagement Ring is Right for You?

The moment you decide to pop the question, a new set of choices comes your way. One of the biggest? Deciding between a gemstone or a diamond engagement ring.

While diamonds are known for their classic, timeless appeal, gemstones offer a burst of color and individuality. So, which one should you choose? Let’s break it down.

    Diamonds: The Timeless Choice

Diamonds have long been the king of engagement rings, thanks to their unmatched sparkle and durability.

When you think of a classic engagement ring, it’s likely a diamond that comes to mind. Diamonds are beautiful, and they hold up to everyday wear because they’re the hardest naturally occurring material on Earth.

One of the main selling points of diamonds is their durability. Since they rank 10 on the Mohs scale, they’re tough enough to handle daily wear without scratching.

If you want a ring that will last for generations, a diamond is a great choice.

Another perk of choosing a diamond is the wide range of options available. Whether you want a huge, sparkly rock or something more subtle, there’s a diamond out there for every style and budget.

Thanks to the 4 Cs — cut, color, clarity, and carat — you can find a diamond that fits your price range without sacrificing too much in terms of appearance.

    Gemstones: A Splash of Color

Gemstones, on the other hand, offer an opportunity to inject some color into your engagement ring. If you want something that’s a little less traditional and more personal, gemstones are a great option.

From the royal blue of a sapphire to the fiery red of a ruby, there’s a whole spectrum of colors to choose from.

Some gemstones, like sapphires and rubies, are nearly as hard as diamonds, making them a great alternative for everyday wear.

They rank high on the Mohs scale, with sapphires at a 9 and rubies just slightly behind.

This means you won’t have to worry too much about scratches or chips, although they’re not quite as indestructible as diamonds.

One of the main draws of gemstones is the variety of options. You can choose a stone that represents your partner’s birth month, a special occasion, or simply a color they love.

This personal touch can make the ring feel even more meaningful.

    The Cost Factor

One of the most significant differences between diamonds and gemstones is the price. Diamonds, especially larger ones with high clarity and color, can get very expensive.

Gemstones, on the other hand, are often more budget-friendly. This can be a major advantage if you want a striking ring without the hefty price tag.

That said, some rare gemstones can actually be more expensive than diamonds, depending on their size, quality, and rarity. For example, certain sapphires or emeralds can fetch high prices, especially if they’re flawless or have a unique color.

    Style and Individuality

If you’re someone who likes to break away from tradition, a gemstone ring might be right up your alley.

Gemstones can feel more personal and unique, making them a great option for those who want something a bit different from the standard diamond ring.

On the flip side, diamonds are considered a “safe” choice. If you’re unsure what your partner would like or if you’re looking for something that will always stay in style, a diamond is a solid bet.

It’s classic and elegant, with a reputation that’s stood the test of time.

    Which is Right for You?

The decision between a diamond and a gemstone ultimately comes down to personal preference.

If your partner loves classic elegance and you want something that’s guaranteed to last, a diamond is a great choice.

On the other hand, if you’re after something more colorful and personal, a gemstone ring could be the perfect fit.

Both options have their own unique appeal, and at the end of the day, the ring you choose should reflect your partner’s personality and style.

Whether it’s a diamond or a gemstone, the most important thing is the love and commitment it symbolizes.
