Blogging Resources
It takes a lot to run a profitable blog. If you’re thinking to start a blog, then you’ll find this list of resources very helpful. Here are the 9 tools I use in my business every day.
Domain Name & Web Hosting
To have a website, you’ll need a domain and hosting. You can get both of these through Bluehost. Bluehost is perfect for a beginner because they’re affordable, dependable, easy to use, and they provide excellent customer support.
WordPress Theme
If you like what you see on this site, then you’ll love the Foodie Pro theme. It runs on the Genesis framework. It’s the best theme I’ve ever used. See my other theme recommendations here.
MailerLite
Every blogger should be building an email list of subscribers. MailerLite is very inexpensive and easy to use. It’s what I use to create opt-in boxes, exit intent pop-ups, and send email newsletters.
Canva Pro
As a entrepreneur you’re going to need to make lots of images. I use Canva Pro to edit images, make YouTube thumbnails, Pinterest images, and more.
Camtasia
Whenever I make a video for my YouTube channel, I use Camtasia. It’s a screen recorder and video editing software.

Presets
Before I upload a picture anywhere I first put presets on them. The ones I recommend only work for Adobe Lightroom, which is a free app. Prior to using presets, my pictures were dark and yellow. Now, they’re light and bright!
Camera
Before getting this DSLR, I was taking all of my pictures with an iPhone. This camera takes better pictures and comes with more settings to work with. Step up your picture game with a DSLR camera!
Phone Tripod
When I make YouTube videos, I film using my iPhone on top of a tripod. I love this tripod because it’s adjustable and comes with a Bluetooth remote that I can use to start and stop videos without touching my phone.
Lighting Kit
Whether you’re taking videos or pictures in your place, you’ll most likely run into the problem of bad lighting. With a lighting kit, you won’t have to wait for sunny days to do that.
