  • Comfyz Review: The Cutest Scented Pajama Sets

I found the cutest sets from a company called Comfyz. I’m going to share with you everything I love about them, which products I got, and a discount code.

Comfyz is the first company to make truly scented pajamas that have a lavender scent to them.

I love how they really do smell like lavender, but it is not overwhelming. When I first opened my sets I didn’t smell much lavender, but after putting them on I started to smell it a lot more.

This is because the fabric reacts to your body temperature and releases the natural lavender essential oil. The clothing still keeps their scent after washing.

You can shop Comfyz here and use code LIZCF15 for 15% off your purchase!

In the above photo I’m wearing the Comfyz Soft Scented Short Sleeve Pajama Set. The color I got is Serenity Purple and I love how it’s such a beautiful and soft shade of purple.

I’m wearing size XS. The set fit me perfectly and is true to size.

The top is short sleeved and oversized. It’s super comfortable and cute. The shorts are like high-waisted biker shorts. I love the length of them.

In the above photo here I’m wearing the Soft Scented Short Sleeve and Long Pants Pajama Set. I also got this one in Serenity Purple and it’s the exact same color as the other set I have.

I love how you can mix and match their sets. All of the combinations of their products look so good together.

I’m wearing this set in size XS and it is true to size and fit me perfectly. For reference, I am 5’4″ and 100 lbs.

Remember to use code LIZCF15 when shopping for these amazing and comfortable sets from Comfyz!

The fabric their sets are made from is COM’FRA (Comfort + Fragrance) Fabric. It complies with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) REACH regulations, has undergone SVHC testing, which includes screening for 245 harmful substances, such as lead and phthalates, and it has been tested for allergenic and disperse dyes, meaning the fabric is safe for skin.

These products help people rediscover their comfort zone and embrace the multi-sensory ultimate comfort of these sets.

Comfyz has launched a new gift customization service for the 2024 holiday season when you use my link:

    1. Receive a personalized card with your custom message (e.g., birthday wishes or Christmas greetings).

    2. Add unique text to the pajamas (e.g., names, pet names, or special phrases).

    3. Orders placed before Christmas will enjoy free express shipping upgrades by paying only the standard shipping fee.

Important: After placing an order, customers will need to provide customization details, then watch out for emails from the customer service team.

  • Common Wedding Dress Preservation Mistakes Most Brides Make

Your wedding dress is more than just a piece of clothing—it’s a cherished memento of one of the most special days of your life.

Whether you envision passing it down as a family heirloom or simply want to preserve it as a keepsake, proper preservation of wedding dress is essential.

However, many brides in Chicago unknowingly make mistakes that can compromise the longevity and appearance of their gowns.

From delaying professional cleaning to improper storage, these errors can lead to irreversible damage.

In this guide, we’ll discuss the most common wedding dress preservation mistakes and how to avoid them.

    1. Delaying Professional Cleaning

One of the biggest errors brides make is postponing the professional cleaning of their wedding dresses. The longer stains are left untreated, the more likely they are to set permanently.

Even if your dress appears clean, substances like sweat, makeup, or champagne can oxidize over time, resulting in yellowish stains that are difficult to remove.

Professional cleaning should ideally be done within a week of the wedding. Look for a specialist in wedding dress cleaning, as they will have the expertise and equipment to handle delicate fabrics and embellishments.

    2. Choosing the Wrong Dry Cleaner

Not all dry cleaners are equipped to handle wedding dresses. Some may use standard methods or harsh chemicals that can damage delicate fabrics, intricate lace, and beading.

Entrusting your gown to an inexperienced cleaner increases the risk of discoloration, shrinkage, or even tears.

It’s important to find a cleaner who specializes in wedding dresses. These professionals know how to treat different fabrics and embellishments carefully, ensuring your gown remains in pristine condition.

    3. Storing the Dress Incorrectly

Improper storage is a common mistake that can lead to significant damage. Many brides hang their dress in the closet or store it in a standard plastic bag.

Hanging can cause the fabric to stretch, especially around the shoulders, while plastic bags can trap moisture, leading to mold or mildew.

For long-term storage, invest in a wedding dress preservation box or acid-free garment bag. These materials protect the gown from light, dust, and humidity, ensuring it stays in excellent condition.

    4. Using Non-Acid-Free Materials

Another common mistake is using regular tissue paper or cardboard boxes for storage.

These materials often contain acids that can weaken the fabric and cause yellowing over time. Brides who overlook this step may find their dress deteriorating faster than expected.

Always use acid-free tissue paper and storage boxes for your wedding dress. These materials are designed specifically to prevent fabric deterioration and keep your gown looking as good as new.

    5. Exposing the Dress to Light and Air

Long-term exposure to light and air can cause your wedding dress to fade and the fabric to weaken.

Many brides make the mistake of hanging their dress in a well-lit room, thinking it’s safe as long as it’s covered.

To protect your dress from light damage, store it in a dark, dry place. If you wish to display it temporarily, consider using a UV-protected display case.

    6. Neglecting Humidity Control

Humidity is one of the biggest enemies of fabric preservation. Excess moisture can lead to mold and mildew, while overly dry conditions can make the fabric brittle.

Many brides store their dress in basements or attics, which are prone to extreme humidity levels.

To avoid this, store your dress in a climate-controlled environment. Maintaining a consistent humidity level of around 50-60% is ideal for fabric preservation.

You can also add silica gel packets to the storage box to help control moisture.

    7. Forgetting to Inspect the Dress Regularly

Some brides pack away their wedding dresses and forget about them for years. Without regular inspections, small issues like fabric weakening, stains, or pest damage can go unnoticed until they become severe.

Check your dress periodically, at least once a year. This allows you to catch any potential issues early and take action before they cause significant damage.

    8. Attempting DIY Cleaning

Trying to clean a wedding dress at home is a common but risky mistake. Over-the-counter cleaning products can be too harsh for delicate fabrics, and improper cleaning methods can cause damage to intricate beadwork or lace.

It’s best to leave the cleaning to professionals who specialize in wedding dress care. They have the knowledge and tools to safely remove stains and clean the dress without causing harm.

    9. Ignoring Stains on the Wedding Day

Accidents can happen on your big day, whether it’s a wine spill, makeup smudge, or sweat stains. Some brides choose to ignore these, assuming they can be dealt with later.

However, untreated stains can set into the fabric, making them difficult to remove.

If a stain occurs, blot it gently with a clean, white cloth to absorb as much as possible. Avoid rubbing, as this can spread the stain or push it deeper into the fabric.

Let your professional cleaner know about the stains so they can apply the appropriate treatment.

    10. Overlooking Professional Preservation Services

Many brides stop at cleaning and don’t consider professional wedding dress preservation in Chicago. Over time, improper storage or environmental factors can cause the dress to yellow, weaken, or develop other issues.

Professional preservation services ensure the gown is prepared for long-term storage, providing peace of mind that it will remain in excellent condition.

Preservation services typically include expert cleaning, pressing, and packaging in acid-free materials.

They also provide instructions for optimal storage conditions, helping you keep your gown in pristine condition for years to come.

    Conclusion

Your wedding dress is a precious memento, and preserving it properly ensures it stays as beautiful as the day you wore it.

By avoiding these common mistakes—such as delaying cleaning, improper storage, or DIY cleaning—you can keep your gown in perfect condition for years to come.

With the right care and attention, your dress will continue to tell the story of your special day for generations.

  • How Bespoke Uniforms Boost Brand Image: Key Trends for Hospitality

In the hospitality industry, first impressions are everything, and uniforms play a vital role in shaping that experience.

More than just a dress code, a bespoke uniform can significantly enhance a business’s brand identity, creating a sense of professionalism and reinforcing the values of the establishment.

Whether in restaurants, hotels, or spas, consistent, stylish workwear communicates quality service and attention to detail, fostering client trust while boosting employee morale.

By investing in the right uniform attire, you’re not only enhancing your brand’s image but also promoting a cohesive work environment, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and overall business success.

As we reflect on 2024, several key trends have emerged that are transforming the future of hospitality uniforms.

These trends focus on enhancing both employee comfort and guest experience while staying in tune with modern aesthetic and functional requirements.

From eco-friendly fabrics to customizable, stylish designs, the latest innovations in hospitality uniforms blend function, sustainability, and visual appeal.

Staying ahead of these trends ensures your staff feels confident and comfortable in their uniforms, while also positioning your establishment as modern, professional, and forward-thinking.

Let’s explore some of these top trends in uniform clothes for work.

    Casual T-Shirts

T-shirts are a common choice when it comes to workwear in the hospitality sector, and this trend has gained further momentum in 2024.

Offering a relaxed yet professional look, T-shirts are particularly suitable for casual dining environments, cafes, and outdoor events.

They also provide excellent comfort, especially during warmer months. Paired with jeans or tailored shorts, T-shirts create a laid-back vibe ideal for informal settings.

Additionally, T-shirts can be easily customised with logos, brand colours, or other design elements, helping businesses subtly reinforce their brand while maintaining a stylish and approachable aesthetic.

    Modern and Stylish Aprons

One of the hottest trends this year is the use of modern, stylish aprons to elevate otherwise simple uniforms.

Whether staff are dressed in plain shirts and trousers or a basic dress code, adding a distinctive apron can inject personality into the overall look. Aprons allow for creative expression through color, design, and branding.

For instance, a fashionable denim apron with bold, colorful straps or screen-printed logos can become a statement piece, attracting attention and adding flair to your brand’s image.

Aprons are also practical, offering a layer of protection for staff while doubling as a fashionable accessory.

    Sustainable Materials

Sustainability has become a key focus for many businesses, and the hospitality industry is no exception. Eco-friendly uniforms made from organic or recycled materials are increasingly popular in hotels, restaurants, and spas.

Fabrics such as organic cotton, bamboo, and recycled polyester are now commonly used to create bespoke uniforms that not only look stylish but are also environmentally conscious.

By choosing sustainable materials, businesses demonstrate a commitment to environmental responsibility, which resonates with eco-conscious consumers.

Moreover, these materials are typically breathable and durable, offering comfort to staff who spend long hours on their feet.

    Minimalist Design

Minimalism is a growing trend in uniform design, with its emphasis on simplicity and elegance. Clean lines, neutral colors, and streamlined designs define this trend, moving away from excessive logos and overly detailed patterns.

Instead, minimalist uniforms focus on a sleek, professional appearance that is both timeless and versatile. A classic, tailored uniform in shades of black, grey, or white creates an understated yet powerful look.

The simplicity of minimalist uniforms ensures that the focus remains on the overall guest experience, while still maintaining a polished and professional appearance.

    Mixture of Textures

Another emerging trend in 2024 is the combination of different textures within uniform designs. This trend is about more than just visual appeal—it also enhances the tactile experience for the wearer.

Mixing textures such as smooth silk with structured fabrics like tweed can add depth and interest to uniforms while maintaining professionalism.

For example, a receptionist’s uniform might feature a silk blouse paired with a tweed skirt, creating a stylish yet practical combination.

The contrast between soft and structured fabrics offers both comfort and sophistication, making it a popular choice in luxury hospitality environments.

    Comfortable Uniforms

Comfort is key in the hospitality industry, where staff often work long, demanding shifts. Uniforms that are designed with comfort in mind ensure that employees can move freely and stay cool throughout their workday.

Soft, breathable fabrics, ergonomic fits, and functional features such as pockets all contribute to the comfort and practicality of modern uniforms. Incorporating comfortable yet stylish designs helps enhance employee well-being, which in turn boosts morale and productivity.

By prioritizing comfort, businesses show that they value their staff’s health and happiness, which reflects positively on the brand.

    Inclusivity and Diversity

In 2024, the hospitality industry has made great strides in designing uniforms that cater to a diverse workforce.

Recognizing that staff come in all shapes, sizes, and cultural backgrounds, businesses are moving away from the traditional ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach.

Instead, they are offering a wider range of fits, sizes, and styles to suit different body types and personal preferences.

Designs that accommodate modesty requirements or cultural preferences—such as longer sleeves, higher necklines, or adjustable elements—are becoming more common.

This inclusive approach ensures that all employees feel comfortable and confident in their uniforms, fostering a sense of belonging and respect within the workplace.

    Personalization

Personalized uniforms are a fantastic way to express your brand’s individuality while maintaining a cohesive look.

Whether through embroidered names, custom logos, or unique color accents, personalization helps create a distinct and professional image.

Some businesses are also giving employees the option to personalize their uniforms by offering a choice of accessories or subtle variations in design.

Allowing employees to have input in their uniform choices can help them feel more valued and connected to the brand.

This trend also adds a layer of authenticity to your business, making your establishment appear more approachable and customer-focused.
